°®°®Ö±²¥ State Singers will perform the Mississippi premiere of a new work by Swedish composer MÃ¥rten Jansson and American librettist Anthony Silvestri. The work weaves traditional music of the Latin requiem mass with poetry by Silvestri. The movements are representative of the loved one that was lost providing peace, hope and comfort from the other side of eternity. Listeners will be treated to this choral/orchestral masterwork in the hopes that through the music one can be healed.
