Inaugural English Expo showcases Mississippiās legacy of literature

STARKVILLE, Miss.ā°®°®Ö±²„ās Department of English offers high school students an opportunity to immerse themselves in Mississippiās rich legacy of literatureādemonstrating the multitude of educational and professional options available to English majorsāat an inaugural English Expo this fall.
āEnglish Expo: Mississippi in the Worldā is free of charge on Friday, Sept. 27 from 8 a.m. 4 p.m. in the Colvard Student Union. Participants can explore the world of English, including literature, writing studies, linguistics, creative writing and film studies.
Students in grades 9-12 will engage in interactive activities such as learning to film, creating movie posters, ābreaking outā of literary escape rooms, and writing at hands-on creative stations.
